Seeking for the Lost" views often overlooked histories through an artistic lens, featuring portraiture by contemporary artist Christopher E. Harrison. This exhibition, organized by the African American Interpretive Center of Minnesota and curated by JoJo Bell, explores familial bonds through ads in The Appeal, a St. Paul Black-owned newspaper, and highlights the role of literacy in the lives of Black Americans post-Civil War.
