Soul of the Southside returns Juneteenth—June 19th, 12 to 8 PM at Minnehaha Ave & East Lake St in South Minneapolis. A free festival celebrating Black Liberation, Creativity, and Community. The festival includes opportunities for artists, businesses, and community partners. Soul of the Southside is presented by The Legacy Building, in partnership with Longfellow Rising and Carbon Sound.

This event features live music, local DJs, art exhibits, yoga and meditation sessions, food trucks, history zones, a Black-owned marketplace, family activities, face painting, and more!
