Alexis Rose is a resident DJ at Modist Brewing in Minneapolis and a prolific fixture of house dance floors across the Twin Cities. It's hard not to feel the same exuberance she exudes from behind the decks while you're on the floor. Alexis' mix smoothly blends subgenres of house music to hypnotic effect.

Yasmeenah's love for music shines through her on her mix for Carbon Sound, mixing deep house, amapiano, and more. UNBOTHERED, Yasmeenah's event series, has featured local and national DJs that pay homage to the Black roots of electronic music. For her mix, she did the same, expanding our knowledge of these genres and making us move simultaneously.

New York City DJ and producer Dazegxd stopped by Carbon Sound's studio during his visit to the Twin Cities for Carbon Sound's HEART BEATS rave at 7th St Entry. Flawlessly mixing jungle, Jersey club, and samples from his jailbroken PS Vita, Dazegxd proves his status as one of the most exciting young DJs touring the country in his mix.
